Morocco Changed Me Forever! Riding Across a Country of Magic 🇲🇦 | THE MOVIE
Morocco was the beginning of my journey across Africa, but it quickly became far more than a country I simply needed to cross. From the moment I arrived in Tangier, the landscape, traffic, architecture and pace of life constantly changed around me.
This film brings together the entire Moroccan chapter of the journey…
Crossing Into Mauritania 🇲🇷
After travelling the length of Morocco and Western Sahara, I finally reached the border with Mauritania. Crossing it marked a significant turning point in the journey.
Dakhla: Where Morocco Ends and the Journey Continues 🇪🇭 🇲🇦
After days of riding south through Western Sahara, I finally reached Dakhla—a remote city built on a narrow peninsula between the Atlantic Ocean and a vast desert lagoon.
Surrounded by water, sand and almost endless open space, it felt completely removed from the crowded cities and mountain roads of northern Morocco.
Beauty and Danger Riding Through Western Sahara 🇪🇭
Continuing south through Western Sahara, the landscape opened into vast desert plains, empty roads and a coastline that felt increasingly remote.
The riding was spectacular, with long stretches of smooth tarmac running between barren hills, sand and the Atlantic Ocean.
This Part of Morocco Feels Like Riding on Mars 🇲🇦
Leaving Agadir behind, I continued south through a completely different side of Morocco. The green valleys and busy coastal towns gradually disappeared, replaced by vast, empty landscapes, rocky plains and long stretches of road cutting through terrain that looked almost extraterrestrial.
Morocco Has THIS Coast! The Ride To Agadir 🇲🇦
Leaving Essaouira behind, I continued south toward Agadir along Morocco’s Atlantic coast. What could have been a straightforward ride between two cities quickly became one of the most scenic stretches of the journey.
Met Camels on the Beach & Found Sultan’s Ruins - Essaouira 🇲🇦
Riding into Essaouira, I expected Atlantic views, strong coastal winds and the distinctive atmosphere of one of Morocco’s best-known seaside towns.
What I found was a place that felt completely different from the noise and intensity of Marrakesh.
The Best Ride of My Life — Atlas Mountains, Morocco 🇲🇦
Leaving the intensity of Marrakesh behind, I finally pointed the Africa Twin toward the Atlas Mountains. Almost immediately, the noise and congestion of the city gave way to open roads, cooler air and some of the most dramatic scenery I had encountered in Morocco.
Ouzoud Waterfalls Will Leave You Speechless 🇲🇦
I rode into one of Morocco’s most famous waterfalls expecting a nice view — instead I got a full-on sensory overload. The roar of the water, the cliffs, the mist hitting your face, the monkeys watching you like you’re the attraction… it’s raw, loud, and absolutely unreal.
Surviving Marrakesh Traffic 🇲🇦. Monkeys, Snakes, and Zero Rules
The ride to Marrakesh was relatively calm, but that changed the moment I entered the Red City. Traffic here is not simply traffic—it is a full-blown survival test.
