Beauty and Danger Riding Through Western Sahara ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ญ

Continuing south through Western Sahara, the landscape opened into vast desert plains, empty roads and a coastline that felt increasingly remote. The riding was spectacular, with long stretches of smooth tarmac running between barren hills, sand and the Atlantic Ocean. It was beautiful, but the isolation also made every mechanical problem, wrong turn or lapse in concentration feel more serious.

This part of Morocco showed two very different sides of the same journey. On one hand, there was the freedom of riding through enormous open spaces with almost no traffic. On the other, there were constant reminders that this was not an ordinary road trip. Strong winds, blowing sand, long distances between towns and the unforgiving desert environment made the route more demanding than it first appeared.

The further south I travelled, the more the journey began to feel like a real expedition. Western Sahara was visually stunning, but it also required respect. It was a place where beauty and danger existed side by side, and where the road itself became the main story.

Iโ€™ll be documenting this adventure along the way โ€” the good, the bad, and everything in between. If you want to ride with me through Africaโ€™s deserts, mountains, chaos, and calm, you can follow the journey on Instagram, and TikTok. Iโ€™ll be sharing stories from the road, raw moments, and the reality behind chasing freedom on two wheels.

So, come along for the ride โ€” the long way through Africa.

Peace!
