The Best Ride of My Life — Atlas Mountains, Morocco 🇲🇦

Leaving the intensity of Marrakesh behind, I finally pointed the Africa Twin toward the Atlas Mountains. Almost immediately, the noise and congestion of the city gave way to open roads, cooler air and some of the most dramatic scenery I had encountered in Morocco. The road climbed steadily through rocky valleys and small mountain settlements, with a new view opening around almost every corner.

This was the kind of riding I had imagined before beginning the journey across Africa: long sweeping bends, steep mountain passes and a landscape that constantly changed as I gained altitude. At times, the road cut directly through bare rock; elsewhere, it followed deep valleys surrounded by enormous peaks. The riding demanded attention, but it never felt like a chore. It was one of those rare days when the motorcycle, the road and the surroundings all seemed to work perfectly together.

What stayed with me most was not a single viewpoint or destination, but the ride itself. There was no manufactured drama and no major incident—just hours of exceptional roads through one of Morocco’s most impressive landscapes. By the end of the day, I had no hesitation calling it the best ride of my life.

I’ll be documenting this adventure along the way — the good, the bad, and everything in between. If you want to ride with me through Africa’s deserts, mountains, chaos, and calm, you can follow the journey on Instagram, and TikTok. I’ll be sharing stories from the road, raw moments, and the reality behind chasing freedom on two wheels.

So, come along for the ride — the long way through Africa.

Peace!
