After entering Cameroon from Nigeria, the journey continued deeper into one of the most challenging and rewarding countries of the expedition. Cameroon quickly showed why it is considered the gateway between West and Central Africa—vast distances, dense forests, unpredictable roads and landscapes that constantly changed.

After crossing from Nigeria into Cameroon through Ekok, I entered one of the most intense and unpredictable chapters of the entire African journey.

This was no longer just another border crossing—it was the beginning of Central Africa, a region where security concerns, remote roads and limited infrastructure make every decision more important.
