After entering The Gambia, I continued towards Banjul, the countryโs small but lively capital. The city felt very different from Dakar.
It was less overwhelming, more compact and easier to explore, but still full of movement, roadside activity and the unpredictable rhythm that had already come to define my journey through West Africa.
From Senegal to The Gambia โ A Warm Welcome & Compliments ๐ฌ๐ฒ
Leaving Dakar behind, I continued south through Senegal toward The Gambia, one of the smallest countries on the African continent.
After the intensity of the capital, the ride gradually returned to smaller towns, roadside villages and a more open landscape.
